Stories - Because life would be boring without them
Brett Linley has been writing across genres for over a decade. An avid reader since childhood, he has melded that lifelong inspiration with a background in political science and economics to create new, exciting worlds with relatable, familiar constructs.
His narratives range from medieval fantasy to science fiction, with a focus on character-driven stories that delve into fleshed out agendas and struggles. Brett strives to employ creative misdirects and surprises, all the while giving morally complex characters space to explore the lines between good and evil. And, sometimes, he enjoys stories of pure, simple chaos.
Apart from writing, he is an avid fan of history, especially the age of the Roman Republic. He also enjoys noodling on his guitar, and the occasional round of pinochle.
